Project goals and objectives:  

  1. National standards for Software Engineering master education that  includes new courses on innovation and  entrepreneurship.
  2. Development of the Virtual Innovative  Space that creates a sense of community among Ukrainian students, researchers  and IT professionals and promotes their  creativity and innovation.
  3. Establishing a set of guidelines and  recommendations for adoption on a  national scale for university – company  cooperation with a focus on student  innovation and entrepreneurship.

Activities:

1. Surveys and studies on innovation  power in Ukraine, both in Universities -  Company projects and in higher education  

2. Best case practices of International  company-university cooperation

3. Training seminars for the new  courses to all Ukrainian universities.  

4. Running awareness campaigns for  students.  

5. Developing and organizing an innovation competition for students, vision  essay connected to current issues.  

6. Prepare, publish, purchase the new teaching materials, handbooks, syllabi in  connection to new courses.

7. Prepare a set of documentation for  equipment purchase.

8. Direct involvement of companies (associations of companies) as a support  network for support student/company contacts  for good innovation. Development of a Company-University-Student Cooperation  Service

9.Implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship education content (as  mandatory courses) into a selection of  subjects: Software Engineering, Software Systems and Electrical Engineering  Standards.  

10.Improving current “National student self-government regulation” with a part  containing principles for innovation and  entrepreneurship for students.

11.Organizing study visits of Ukrainian  students visits to innovation centres in cities  of the EU partner universities.  

12.Providing distance courses in line with  the new education standards of innovation  and entrepreneurship

13. Quality plan with the evaluation  criteria for measuring quality of the activities  of the project

Expected results:  

National standards for Software I. Engineering master education that includes new courses on innovation and  entrepreneurship.

II. Formation of the Virtual Innovative Space that creates a sense of  community among Ukrainian students, researchers and IT professionals and  promotes their creativity and innovation.

III. Establishing a set of guidelines and recommendations for adoption on a  national scale for university – company  cooperation with a focus on student innovation and entrepreneurship.

IV. Developing and organizing an  innovation competition for students

V. Training seminars for the new  courses to all Ukrainian universities.

VI. Dissemination of project results
